Vernale Crimp Nymph
Originator : Marc Griffiths | Size: 16 | Weight: 9 turns 0.015" lead wire

The Vernale Crimp Nymph was designed to represent the little Deleatidium mayfly nymphs, with dark bodies and translucent legs that dominate insect biomass on some streams.  The legs of the imitation become a lot more translucent in the water.

Fishing Tip:
Fish the Crimp Nymph dead-drift, either as a single nymph in shallow/slower water, or in tandem with a heavier pattern to attain greater depth.
